This is a very easy and quick to prepare dessert with attractive, artistic layout. The two-color zebra pattern, combined with its superb taste, will make it a favorite for everyone at home.

Necessary products:
4 large eggs at room temperature
1h (250y) sugar of crystals
1h (250 ml) fresh milk, at room temperature
1h (250 ml) oil
2h (300y) white wheat flour
1 / 3 teaspoon vanilla powder or extract
1 flat spoon baking powder (can be replaced with 1 teaspoon baking soda)
a pinch or two of salt
2 dark cocoa powder

Zebra Cake

Method of preparation:

1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Prepare a muffin pan, grease and sprinkle with flour or cover tightly with greased parchment paper.
2. In a large bowl mix together the eggs and sugar (you can break the proteins with the sugar, the yolks separately and then mix them), whisk with a mixer, to a maximum of about 5-8 min., Until the sugar crystals are completely thickened. Add milk, butter and vanilla, gently stirring by hand until homogenized.
3. In another bowl, mix together flour, baking powder and salt. Pour over the other ingredients and mix again by hand.
4. Divide into two equal parts, add the cocoa to one and mix until completely browned.
5. Pour out 2-3 Spoons from one mixture in the center of the pan and let it spill for a while, then place the same amount of the other color in the middle of the pan. Continue evenly with this operation until both component halves are exhausted.
6. Bake for about 40-45 minutes and check with a toothpick stuck in the center of the dessert - there must be no adherent mixture when removing it. Do not open the oven door for at least the first 20-25 min., So as not to lose the volume of the pastry.
7. Allow to cool for 10-15 minutes, then turn over and remove the parchment paper. Let it cool completely before slicing.
If you wish you can pour with liquid chocolate, butter or other cream.

Another interesting approach to finishing the decoration of this dessert is by running a bamboo stick or skewer. It is plunged vertically into the center of the mixture and carefully driven to the wall of the vessel. Then clean with a cloth and repeat the movement. Radial movements can alternate - from the middle to the edge and from the edge of the tray to the middle. When rectangular baking is used, the corresponding rays may be in one direction to the corners and opposite to the respective walls, as shown in the picture.
